The Paxton Blvd Stormwater Conveyance Sewer (30th Street to 41st Street) is one of two main branch sewers that will connect to the Minne Lusa Stormwater Conveyance Sewer, a sewer that will allow for conveyance of separated stormwater from previously completed and future sewer separation projects in the Minne Lusa Basin for discharge to the Pershing/Storz Detention Basin System.
Based on the Long Term Control Plan, the Paxton Blvd Stormwater Conveyance Sewer will vary in size from approximately 96 inches in diameter on the west end to a 10'x14' 60x culvert on the east end. The finished sewer will be approximately 8,800 feet long. This new sewer will increase the stormwater capacity of the Paxton Blvd collection system, allow connection for additional sewer separation projects, and ultimately reduce sewer backups in the area.
