World O! Water was held Saturday, Sept. 6 much to the delight of the hundreds of children and their families who participated in demonstrations, science experiments, games, canoeing and face painting.
The annual event is designed to educate the public about water conservation, water quality and water recreation. Volunteers from the CSO! Program were on hand providing information to visitors, which included many Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts working on badges on the topic of water. In addition, more than 150 coloring books developed by the Water Environment Federation teaching children five easy ways to take care of water, were distributed.
