Omaha CSO

The Webster and Nicholas Sewer Separation Phase 1 Project, which builds upon sewer separation already completed as part of the CSO Program, was accomplished in two parts.

The first part involved the construction of storm and sanitary sewer on Nicholas Street between 16^th and 20^th Streets.  The project started with a connection to the west end of the storm and sanitary sewers constructed as part of the Nicholas Street Phase 1 (10^th Street to 16^th Street) Project. Construction involved full width removal and replacement of 16^th Street north of Nicholas Street and Nicholas Street from 16^th to 20^th Street.  New sidewalk and ramps were provided as part of this effort.  The second part of the project included the construction of one block of sanitary sewer tunneled in place on 15^th Street from Mike Fahey Street to California Street.
